About Me
making an SUV accessible to small people

I had to buy a bigger vehicle to fit all of my kids in comfortably. When I was looking for a new vehicle, I knew that I had to get something that sits higher off the ground than a van, but knew that it would be difficult for myself and my younger children to get up into. I narrowed my list of potential vehicles down to three and started looking for accessories that I could use to make it possible for all of us to get in easily. Visit my blog to find out what we have done to our new SUV to make it more accessible and comfortable for the entire family.

Get Ready To Roll: What To Know About Virtual Racing

Ellen Sakala

With COVID, a lot of things changed for everyone. Whether you are working from home or looking for new work, most people have had to adjust to doing a lot of things from the comfort of their own home including online clothes shopping, grocery delivery, homeschool, and take out, but hobbies too. If you are more of a person who likes to do things that involve a thrill like gambling and watching NASCAR, then virtual racing may be your jam.

What Is Virtual Racing?

Imagine being able to compete on professional race car tracks with people from all across the world. Imagine doing it in an environment that was real-time and where some money was involved. If you like the idea of all of these things, then you will like virtual racing. Depending on the forum that you go with, it may or may not have the gambling aspect involved. If you live in a state like Utah where gambling isn't legal, then you won't be able to play on one of these websites (typically). Either way, you will still be able to create your own virtual car and race against other contestants from all around the world.

Is It Free?

Typically, virtual races come with some sort of fee in order to enter the race. Depending on how often you race and how successful you are, you may want to invest in some sort of package deal that grants you several races every month for one flat fee; that way you're not spending too much money on individual races. If you are really successful, you may even be able to get some of the money back or you could potentially end up making some money.

What Do You Need to Participate?

One of the best things about online auto racing is that all you really need is a strong internet connection, a laptop computer or PC, and a credit card to pay any fees associated with it. Then, once you have those things in place, you can set up your login account and get started.

Before you hop on the track and start racing with some of the online professionals, you can always practice racing around the track on many of these platforms. To learn a little bit more about virtual racing, research some websites online and see which ones (if any) are a good fit for you.

If you are interested in trying something new and unique, consider participating in virtual races.
